FAQ
Questions, answered.
Everything brands and creators tend to ask - how the marketplace works, what the 10% fee covers, how escrow keeps both sides safe, and what to expect during early access. Still stuck? Join the waitlist and we'll walk you through it.
Getting started
The basics of what ShareContent.ai is and who it's for.
ShareContent.ai is a marketplace that connects brands with creators to produce paid content. Brands post briefs (per-piece content gigs) or jobs (ongoing roles), creators apply, and accepted work is funded through escrow so both sides are protected. It spans short-form video, clipping, UGC, podcasts, newsletters, blogs, livestreams and more.
Two sides. Brands that want authentic creator content without chasing freelancers or risking upfront payments, and creators who want a steady stream of paid gigs without cold-pitching or chasing invoices. If you do both, you're welcome on both sides with the same email.
No. You can explore live briefs, open jobs and the brand directory without signing up. Joining the waitlist reserves your spot in the founding cohort and gets you onboarded first when live billing opens.
We're in early access, onboarding founding brands and creators now. The full flow - posting, applying, accepting, escrow and payouts - is built and explorable. Live billing is being switched on for the founding cohort first.
For brands
Posting work, finding creators and only paying for results.
Nothing upfront. Posting is free. You only pay when you accept an application and fund it - and the platform fee is a flat 10% on top of the agreed creator pay. No subscriptions, no listing fees, no minimums.
Every application includes the creator's proposal, portfolio link, primary social platform, handle, follower count and engagement rate. You review, compare and accept the ones that fit. Nothing is charged until you accept and fund.
Four. Fixed (a flat per-piece fee), performance (pay per result - views, clicks, conversions, signups or sales), hybrid (a base fee plus a performance bonus), and commission (creators earn a percentage of the sales they drive). Fixed and hybrid briefs fund a guaranteed amount into escrow.
A brief is a single, scoped content deliverable (e.g. "three TikToks for our launch"). A job is an ongoing role - full-time, part-time or contract - for brands that need a creator embedded with the team. Both are posted for free.
For creators
Finding gigs, applying and getting paid for your work.
Yes. Creators pay zero fees and keep 100% of the agreed pay. The 10% platform fee is charged to the brand on top - it never comes out of your pocket.
Open any brief and submit an application with your proposal, portfolio link and social details (platform, handle, follower count, engagement). You don't need a paid account to apply - just your name and email. The brand reviews and accepts the fits.
Once a brand accepts and funds your application, the money sits in escrow. You deliver the work, the brand approves, and escrow releases the funds to you. You can see every state - funded, delivered, approved, released - in a transparent ledger.
When you join the creator waitlist, drop the link to the social profile that best represents your work - Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, a newsletter, wherever your audience lives. It helps us match you to the right briefs faster.
Payments & escrow
How money moves and why both sides are protected.
When a brand accepts an application, the agreed amount (plus the 10% fee) is funded into escrow up front. The creator delivers, the brand approves, and only then does escrow release the funds. Brands don't pay for work they didn't get; creators don't deliver for a brand that might vanish.
It's a flat 10% charged to brands. It covers escrow handling, matching, payouts and dispute support. Creators pay nothing. The affiliate program is paid out of this same fee.
During early access, balances and escrow are modeled in-app so you can experience the complete flow end to end. Live billing is being added for the founding cohort, and the mechanics you see now are exactly how it will work with real funds.
Because funds sit in escrow until approval, neither side is exposed. If a delivery and a brief don't match, the work isn't approved and the funds aren't released. Dispute support is part of what the platform fee covers.
Affiliate program
Earn a lifetime cut for the brands you bring in.
Refer a brand and you earn 10% of our platform fee on every campaign they fund - for the lifetime of that account. No cap, no expiry. As they keep funding work, you keep earning.
Anyone active on the platform can request affiliate access. Once approved, you get a referral key; brands you bring in are attributed to you, and your commissions accrue automatically as they fund campaigns.
Commissions accrue as referred brands fund and release campaigns, then settle to you. You can see lifetime, accrued and paid totals - plus the underlying referrals and commissions - in your affiliate dashboard.
Trust, safety & accounts
Privacy, data and how sign-up works.
No. Public pages - briefs, jobs and the brand directory - never expose emails or private contact details. Identity tokens are used internally only and are stripped from everything returned publicly.
Yes. Choose Brand to post and fund work, or Creator to discover gigs and get paid. The waitlist form adapts: brands share a company name, creators share their primary social profile link. You can join both lists with the same email.
Absolutely. Plenty of people both run a brand and create content. Sign up as a brand and as a creator with the same email and you'll be set up on both sides.
The founding cohort is onboarded first when live billing opens, gets priority support, and locks in early-member perks. Joining the waitlist now is how you claim that spot.
